This app is such a time saver!! Great for small businesses, I love it!!

Expensify saves me a lot of time. The magic is SmartScan, their image to text system. It gets the vendor, price, and date from the scan of the receipt automatically. Its about 95% accurate. Nothing else I tried even comes close. I think they have a team of people doing manual entry for the difficult to read scans. And the app itself is a pleasure to use. Very happy it exists.

Expenses wont sync on iPhone correctly and it is a struggle to get prompt responses from customer service to troubleshoot.

Not all trips are by plane or have an itinerary. Where is the ability to include mileage expenses?

Simple to use. Intuitive to learn. Great charting availability. Customizable to own company needs. App and desktop version are totally seamless. The amount of hours saved over the period of 1 year using simply the free version is incredible. Truly simplifies my live. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for anyone who dreads expense reports!!!!

No help, no info online. I cant upload a receipt/photo to an expense. Very, very frustrating. Repeatedly says failed to sync. Why!!??

I like the ease-of-use and the simple setup. If they add a few functions it could be great. Mileage should be a separate report that can be attached to the expense report. It should also show the total miles not just total $. For expenses w/receipts it would help me greatly if I could format the reports so the categories are in a certain order. An additional column for GL codes would be great too. For the receipt photos I want to see the ability to add mark-ups and to shrink the photos. My company requires notes on the receipts. As for the photo size, my iPhone takes large file size photos so the receipt images are un-sendable without using another app to cut the size down. Id also like to have full access to edit functions within the app.

For the first time ever I was able to file taxes without going crazy finding receipts. Quick, easy, and digital versions of everything my CPA needs.

Time is money, my friend. And Expensify creates more time by not having to worry about paper receipts; remembering what was spent in what category at which place at what time. The fact that theyre a free app is incredible! Has saved me countless hours over traditional manual entry of receipt entries into a spreadsheet. Definitely recommend!!

Use it in almost every business trip. Super easy to set up and use with an administrator and/or assistant for reports, and reimbursements.

The app seems to give little thought as to the workflow a non-casual user would use. No apparent way to view the status of reports or multiple edits. The idea of a mobile Expensify app is nice, but unfortunately the execution falls short. Maybe in five or six iterations they can come up with something useful.

It wont even let me create an account. Its a never ending loop between the create account page and the sign in page! One takes you to the other and thats it! Im done!

This is my first expense app and I dont think I have to look any further. I have to agree showing the mileage would be great, but everything else so far has been top notch. Thanks for making my life that much easier.

Yes, smartscan is life-changing, but so is digital submission and report status. This system has saved me countless hours in submitting reports and tracking reimbursements.

Great app. I started using it when I was at a start up. A lot of my colleagues started using it to. Now at my new company we use a competitor which is not as intuitive

This is a must have tool for anyone who is a freelancer or independent contractor. Easy, fast and professional.

I like the idea on how easy expense reporting can be. There are many basic features that do not work like I added my card and the app does nothing. Cant change picture etc. The tabs are not logically aligned and it takes one too many clicks to get the receipt done.
