Expensify - Travel & Expense App Reviews

So at first having no experience using this app I struggled navigating and submitting reports. Then I figured it out. I like it though if the concierge is going to initiate you there should be some preempted response that can fill in for the live person we presumably are waiting on to get feedback. All in all 6.5 out of 10.

For anyone who has ever been required to hoard and the endlessly sort physical receipts... For everyone who has tried keeping a mileage log only to find it empty at the end of the month... For everyone who has had to manually enter who what where when into a system... Expensify will blow your mind.

This app has saved me countless hours of sorting and scanning receipts. Contrary to other reviewers, who I suspect dont take the time, I find the interface very intuitive and easy to use. Id give it 5 stars, except Ive encountered difficulties at times syncing my credit card expenses. When thats happened, however, support has been very proactive about a remedy, and when my bank changed its API, Expensify notified me when they re-engineered their sync in response. And Im a free version user!

Plz fix the issue

Best expense app Ive used. Ive used many. The ocr (expense recognition) is remarkable and its the first app that I know that you can have remember your coding and do it automatically. Keep up the good work.

As someone who travels a lot for business. I appreciate having a tool to help me track my spending. It has made my job so much easier. No more collecting and taping receipts to get paid. I have also had great help from CS when I had questions about cash spending. They were helpful and answered my questions right away. I love the app. Not sure what others have found to be so negative about an app that simplifies reimbursement. Must be an "age thing".

Easy to set up, no frills, expense reporting. Simple as that.

Absolutely perfect app. It could certainly use a few improvements but it works great and serves the purpose.

This is a free, well designed app for tracking and submitting expenses. It functions well, doesnt crash and has been updated regularly. The negative reviews are ridiculous. Try this app for yourself you wont be disappointed. My whole team uses it.

I really love just about every feature of this app, with the exception that it does not let you charge a daily rate. And sadly, without being able to charge a daily rate; it is useless to me.

Nice app, and it doesnt crash

I put 5 stars because the app deserves it, but PLEASE PLEASE FIX IT ASAP. It wont respond anymore and it crashes now. I cant create or import bank cards. PLEASE FIX IT ASAP. I use it for my company and we cant have our employees not being able to file their reimbursements. Thank you for your help. This isnt a negative review but a request to fix the app. Thank you again

Its another app. Nothing special. Update 11/29/16 -- very slow reimbursements. Claims withdrawals over $100 need three extra days. Aside from seeming odd, the vast majority of my claims are over $100. App is very limited. Have to use the web for anything substantial (except scanning receipts). And once a receipt is submitted and paid you still have to see it in the list. Help says "we dont support" filtering. I can only imagine how many paid receipts Ill have to wade through after using this for a year. Have since found out that I can add the conversion surcharge -- from the website. Original review -- Supports multiple currencies -- except at random rates. Cant handle non-US employees. No way to tell it that a US expense was paid with a CAD card, so youd lose the surcharge most banks add. Lots of effort went into cuteness, which is fine if cute it was matters. No explanation or documentation. Smart scan misses a lot, and ignores currency. Also doesnt realize that different countries use different date formats. Its okay I suppose but not life changing or significantly faster than excel.

So far I like the app, but it will trick you into the monthly subscription paid version, very deceitful.

I love Expensify! I take pictures while on the road and then I dont have to carry the receipts home! It is simple and easy to use! Thank you!

The quick submission, approval, and reimbursement functionality is so handy. Way better than manual expense reporting!!!
